The Mae S. Bruce Library Summer Reading Program begins June 1, 2026!

TRICERATOPS (6-11) & RAPTORS GROUP (12-17)
Purpose of the Summer Reading Program:
We here at Mae S. Bruce Library want to encourage children to read and use the library resources during school vacation times to meet their own learning and recreational needs. The experience should be relaxing and pleasurable.
We want children to share books and stories in the company of others and to discover the satisfaction of reading alone or being read to.
How Does It Work?
Children check out library books, read them at their leisure, and record the reading times on the reading log provided by the library.
A valid library card is needed to check out books, but it is not needed to attend programs.
Reading logs will be available for pickup beginning June 1.
